Q) Why did you join ACACIA?
A) I joined Acacia because of the amount of good time I knew I would have and the fact that college is a once in a lifetime experience. I know I would have never been introduced to such a diverse group if it wasn’t for this house.
Q) What is your favorite memory of the fraternity?
A) My favorite memory has to be when I won the participation award this last formal. I always really wanted to win an award, and no matter how much I tried, I was always 2nd or 3rd in the eyes of the chapter. I just was a feeling of achievement that I never had felt before.
Q) What kind of influence has ACACIA had on your life?
A) Acacia has changed my life in countless ways. It has helped me learn through experience and reality. When I was house manager, I had to learn how to basically be a landlord, how to fix anything that might go wrong in a small apartment complex. The types of friends I have now I would have never gotten to know if it wasn’t for this house. Sobby and I would never have met. I wouldn’t have gotten any of my summer jobs if it wasn’t for brothers and alumni helping me out. I could go on forever.
Q) What are your plans after graduation?
A) Well I hope to stay at the house after I grad, and get a job as an engineer around Columbus. I like the flexibility that living in the house provides.
