Q) Why did you join ACACIA?
A) I transferred to OSU not knowing anyone and they welcomed me with open arms. I joined the house because I feel as much at home here as I have anywhere else, and I wanted to become closer with my friends.
Q) What is your favorite memory of the fraternity?
A) My entire pledge quarter, though especially ditch weekend, Michigan weekend, and my initiation day.
Q) What kind of influence has ACACIA had on your life?
A) My brothers have helped me increase my self-confidence and be myself. They are some of the closest and most supportive friends I've ever had. I've also had the opportunity to become close with a more diverse circle of friends than I would have found outside the fraternity. Acacia has given me the opportunities to learn leadership skills to a degree I wouldn't find anywhere else.
Q) What are your plans after graduation?
A) To go into publishing and eventually write my own book.
