Lives In House: yes
Q) Why did you join ACACIA?
A) I was invited over to the house by Brother Quicksall who was our Rush Chairman at the time. My first time at the house was during Michigan week and I had instantly felt comfortable at the house. Stefan gave me a tour of the house, Ross had me play a game of darts with him. Everyone seemed cool. As I got to know the brothers better I realized that none of them were your typical "frat guys." Acacians, to me, seemed to be a close knit group of guys from all different backgrounds and interests. I saw the strength in the brotherhood of the house and was honored when I was invited to be a part of it.
Q) What is your favorite memory of the fraternity?
A) Big/Little and Playing "The Bad Touch" at our Battle
of the Band's Fundraiser are some of my favorites. Lately its been playing Guitar Hero with brothers on the front porch till 3 in the morning or the late night car rides all over Ohio. Hearing all of Dale's stories when he was an active is still one of my favorite things. Acacia Leadership Academy this past summer was probably the most fun I can remember having.
Q) What kind of influence has ACACIA had
on your life?
A) Being in Acacia has given me many new leadership opportunities,
has strengthened my organizational skills, and the ability to
network with alumni has recently allowed me to find a new job. I have developed friendships that are closer than any that I've had before and have really found a home away from home here.
Q) What are your plans after graduation?
A) Get into grad school or go into the Peace Corps or become a rockstar or something.
