Q) Why did you join ACACIA?
I wanted to join a fraternity that wasn’t atypical, because I knew that I wouldn’t want to hang out with a bunch cocky, idiotic, meatheads. I heard of ACACIA through one of my best friends, and everyone who met me really wanted me to join-almost throwing themselves at me, which I didn’t experience when I was shopping around at other fraternities. I wanted to finally have some close male comradery in my life, and I wanted to even further my university involvement and network.
Q) What is your favorite memory of the fraternity?
As of now, my favorite memory would have to being the Soulja Boy baller at the Fratastic TG with AEPhi and Sigma Pi during Homecoming Week.
Q) What kind of influence has ACACIA had on your life?
Its definitely broadened my viewpoints and has made me less judgemental. ACACIA has even furthered my social and time management skills. And it has also showed that if I really want to do something and commit to it than I can accomplish anything that I want to.
Q) What are your plans after graduation?
Hopefully, move to New York or LA and become an entertainment reporter for MTV, VH!, BET, EXTRA, ET, or TVGuide. I kinda want to be the multiracial version of Ryan Seacrest minus the being a complete tool part.
